Well today is the deadline for the Darwin Race of Languages competition, and I have just managed to complete my Clipboard Utility on time (Luckily… I don’t know where the time went these past two weeks, but I seem to have had no time to work on this… hence the rush!).

Overall I feel the development went well… There were quite a few snags along the way, but I managed to get the majority of them sorted with the help of my trusty friend Google!

So without further ado, grab your copy of TeraClips here!

And here is the ReadMe file if your after a bit more information about the application :)

TeraClips was developed and designed by Tom Glenn as an entry for the Darwin Race of Languages competition (www.darwinraceoflanguages.com).

It is a small utility written in C# (.NET 2.0) that extends the Windows Clipboard by allowing the user to manage multiple Clipboard items at a time.

TeraClips gives you the ability to:
…Store and manage multiple Clipboard items
…Save and open Clipboard lists as XML for easy storage and retrieval of useful information or images
…Preview Clipboard items in three formats (Text, RTF and Image)
…Remove items from the Clipboard list
…Bring any item in the list directly to the main Windows Clipboard for pasting
…Save images in the list as a JPG (By right clicking the preview image)
…Find, and add to the Clipboard as a string, the color of any pixel on the screen with an Eye Dropper style color picker
…Run TeraClips on Windows Startup
…Start TeraClips minimized to the task tray

I hope you enjoy using TeraClips, please feel free to contact me via email at:

Take care!
