Hey all,

I haven’t posted in a while… Guess I have been kind of busy.

I am back to work full time now, my little sister demands a lot of attention and my girlfriend just got a little West Highland Terrier puppy which she has named Jasper (And he’s adorable!) .

Well, I thought I best post as I have been accepted to enter (Albeit two days late, I only just found out about it) the Darwin Race of Languages. A competition to demonstrate the power of different programming languages and a chance for programmers to show off a bit of flare.

Entries can be made in any language but must be based on one of three topics. These include a CPU/Load Monitor, a Clipboard replacement utility and a GUI for a command line app called gbak.

I have decided to go for the Clipboard replacement utility, which I will be creating in C#.NET using Visual Studio 2005.

The competition closes for submission on the 22nd July and the winners will be announced on the 30th. Until then, I will be posting my progress log of my application development right here on my blog.

So keep checking back! Once the application is completed and entered I believe it will be made available on the Darwin Race of Languages website (If not, I will post it here anyway for you to enjoy!).

Well that’s all for now! Check back soon!
