I have just found out that all 3 of my YouTube accounts have been completely suspended and deleted, with absolutely no warnings or contact. The only notification I have received was when attempting to login and getting an “Account Suspended” message.
The strange thing is, one of my accounts had never even been used! I simply registered it planning to use it for something, then never got round to it!
I found a page that allows people to request further information about their suspended accounts and submitted a request for all 3 of mine. I received 3 identical emails containing this:
Thanks for your email. Your “hazedtg” account has been found to have
violated our Community Guidelines. Your account has now been terminated.
Please be aware that you are prohibited from accessing, possessing or
creating any other YouTube accounts.
Now that’s funny… HazedTG was the account I never even used… How on earth did it violate their Community Guidelines? As for the other two. Hazviz was one where I posted random machinama that I had made and MoneySavingTricks was one where I posted videos of me giving money saving tips and tricks.
I am absolutely appauled and disgusted with YouTube. Not once did they contact me to notify me of my suspensions, nor did they give any real and justified reason for the suspensions. The worst part is, I have lost all of my videos and all of my subscribers. They also claim I am prohibited from creating or accessing any other accounts!
I think it’s time to move to services that give a damn about their user base, like Vimeo.
That is ridiculous! I got rejected for Google Adsense, and nothing wrong with my site as far as I can tell. I think any service by Google (including Youtube) can be a bit goofy. I’d contact Youtube personally with a complaint, because something’s just not right with that.
I emailed their support but so far have had no further response. I am starting to lose faith in Google services.
The same thing happened to me, I had two accounts and both were suddenly suspended for some reason yesterdat. I requested info on why one of my accounts was disabled, and I just got the same email as you, stating I violated the Community Guidelines. Today, I could suddenly access that account again but they didn’t send me an email about that, I had to find out about it myself… Fortunately all my video’s, subscriptions et al were still intact, I only had to fill in some profile info again. I’m now trying to get my other account back.

Hey Arjan, thanks for the comment. I’m glad you got your account back, unfortunately I was not as lucky. I have heard that there are a group of people who are going around and flagging peoples videos until they are automatically banned.
I ended up creating a new account in the end.
Strange they have suspended an account you have never used. How could have someone flagged a video of yours if there was none? Very strange!
Ugghh, this makes me sick. YouTube did the same thing to me a few months back. I did nothing wrong, i was to a little marketing and i have to assume that those handful of videos is why they terminated my account. I think it’s safe to assume google just doesn’t want you making free money..
The fact that they just deleted your account, which had not even been used is rediculous.
maybe having multiple accounts is the problem, even if you didn’t use them
I had my account randomly suspended for about a week. I don’t post anything on the account, I just use it to login in to see certain videos. Not sure what happened, but may YouTube has a weird glitch when they posted an update. I didn’t take any action, but it was working again a week later when I tried to sign in.
Yeah, I think google is a bit glitchy with some of their services. I recently got my youtube account shut down as well. It pissed me off so freaking badly!

When they CAN do anything they want…they DO!
And…they don’t give a rat’s ass!
It is fact the Google has earned billions from these services and millions of people are still using their services. This the reason that they are now banning and suspending a lot of accounts on a regional basis. We are the few people that have been affected by Google while a million more are treating Google as their friend so Google is not taking care to accommodate us.
