So recently I have been teasing myself each and every day by browsing the Mac section of the Apple store, knowing I do not have the money at the moment to buy one. However, the thought sprang to mind about all those free ipod give away sites that were seen in the news a few years back and I wondered whether any sites were doing the same for Macbooks.

So I set about looking for a legitimate site, and up popped FreebieJeebies.co.uk. FreebieJeebies is a UK giveaway site that gets it’s money from companies who pay them for getting them signups and new customers. For example, LoveFilm will pay FreebieJeebies for every new customer they get that signs up for a two week free trial of their service, regardless of whether or not that user actually continues their account or cancels it after the free trial. This is how they pay for your free gift, whilst still making themselves a tidy profit.

So I did a bit of research on the company, and found several YouTube videos from people who have actually received free gifts. Like this video of someone Unboxing a Macbook Air and this one of someone Unboxing an iPhone. I also found a great forum where people actually discuss these kind of sites and share their experiences called Exceem. On this site, I found a great post where tons of people gave no end of praise to FreebieJeebies for their amazing service.

So I went ahead and signed up to FreebieJeebies, choosing a 2.0GHz Macbook Aluminium as my item, and completed the GalaBingo offer which cost me just £5. There are free offers, such as a two week free trial of LoveFilm but I have played online bingo before, and so GalaBingo sounded like a nice offer to do.

I need about 40 referrals to get my Macbook, but they start from as little as needing just 2 referrals for an iPod Shuffle!
